So a few weeks back I sort of casually suggested that you might want to do drawings based on these little Islamic veil-wearing characters I drew which, as [info]ryclaude , [info]elfshotthefood  and [info]yunni  will attest, I drew in the pub; and DAMN!  i was not prepared for the response! You are all amazing!

I wish there were prizes I could give out, but until that day comes the best I can do is showcase your work on this livejournal here. We had over 50 entries! I think! To help lighten the load, I enlisted [info]secretarybot to talk about your drawings! As some of you know, she is a burger-lovin' robot secretary of my own creation.

"Hello, I am Secretarybot, the lovable robot made out of burgers and sass, probably not in that order! I've been programmed by HARVEYJAMES™ to pretend to care about your art, so I'm-a get to pretendin'!  Without further ado, here are the entries in no particular order!"

ACTUALLY THE ORDER IS ALPHABETICAL (CLICK!) )

Show everyone how much you love green and red lions wearing vaguely Islamic headgear (and their human equivalents) with these neato mosquito user icons!

By the way:

This is pretty neat - There's an animated menu for the Dekata project that uses my lion artwork. I especially like it because I got paid for it without having to do anything, SCORE

If you want to see it, it's behind the cut.

I swear Black Lion Week is not an extended piece of marketing for Dekata Project

Speaking of which:

Last time I met up with this guy he told me they took 50 photographs and this was the best one.

If you weren't already drawing lion girls we could have a really neat photoshop challenge based around this picture, I want to see people inserting him into famous moments from history

Day 5 of Black Lion Week, BOIIIIIIIIYE

Still hugely impressed by the art that's still coming in for the Black Lion Girls. The end of week showcase looms! If you wanted to do something but haven't had the chance now's the effin' time, my friend

Here's some drawings I did for the upcoming release of Cave Story on Nintendo Wiiware, as reported by Play Magazine.

There was also a lot of talk as to why my blog had stayed silent on the 8-bit tribute to Miles Davis and Capcom's commitment to the iPhone, so I'm glad I can finally lay that controversy to rest

I also want to show you this page from Brandon Graham ([info]royalboiler) 's comic King City, coming soon from Image Comics. See if you can spot anyone you recognise! This is very cool.

Not only should you buy Brandon's books but I can thoroughly recommend his blog for inspirational posts about comics (though I'm sure you've added him already)

By the way, we're still having a lot of fun with the characters in the previous thing I posted, making awesome animated gifs and drawing them as real girls and whatnot, like we did with the drawings of cats from a while back.  You should mosey on over, because there's some seriously impressive stuff in there! I think I'm going to do a showcase of everyone's drawings at the end of the week, so if you're inspired to do some yourself, that'd be cool too. LATERZZZ

Artowkr for a flyer. Feel free to name them,  write poems about them, tell me what you think they are, draw them as 'real girls'
